AnXiaoYu (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect information when you use the AnXiaoYu app. By using AnXiaoYu you agree to this policy. The Chinese master text and full User Agreement are available in the app and at anxiaoyu.com.cn/legal/user-agreement/.

1. Our principles

• Health records stay encrypted on your device by default; core features work without an account.
• The current public release does not provide multi-device cloud sync of your full health archive.
• We do not sell your health data and do not use it for targeted advertising.
• Use in-app Backup & Export to create a .anxiaoyu file you control.

2. Information we process

2.1 Information you enter (mainly on-device)

• Profile details (e.g. sex, date of birth, height, weight, conditions, allergies, medications)
• Health metrics (e.g. blood pressure, glucose, heart rate, weight)
• Cycle / fertility / pregnancy-related logs
• Mood, sleep, diet and hydration logs
• Medication schedules and reminders
• Family member profiles (you must have permission to manage them)
• Check-up / lab images and OCR text (stored on-device by default)
• Optional cloud recognition assistance drafts / recognition text (only after consent; see section 5)

2.2 Account / Sign in with Apple

Core features work without an account. The current public release does not provide cloud-account login or multi-device sync of your full health archive. If a future build re-enables Sign in with Apple / cloud sync, we will update this policy and in-app notices. We never collect your Apple ID password. To erase data on this device, use Settings → Privacy → delete all local data.

2.3 Device and de-identified usage data

• Device model, OS version, app version
• Anonymous product analytics (feature taps, session info, membership tier) — not raw health values
• Crash / error diagnostics for stability
• Optional “Help improve the experience” toggle is off by default and must be turned on by the user; Privacy Mode pauses cloud recognition assistance and analytics

2.4 Apple Health (HealthKit)

If you grant permission, AnXiaoYu may read steps, heart rate, weight, blood oxygen, active energy and similar types from Apple Health for on-device display and logging. We do not write to Apple Health in the current design, and we do not sell HealthKit data or use it for advertising.

3. Cloud sync

The current public release does not provide cloud-account login or upload your full health archive for cloud sync. Use Backup & Export (.anxiaoyu) for device migration.

4. How we use information

• Provide logging, trends, reminders and export
• Optional cloud recognition assistance after your explicit consent (see below)
• Verify App Store subscription status
• Improve product stability with de-identified analytics/crashes (controllable)

5. Cloud recognition assistance

Open Q&A, health chat, and chatbot features have been permanently removed from this release.

Only after you grant consent on the first-launch full-screen page (title names DeepSeek), under Settings → Privacy & permissions → Cloud recognition assistance, or when using lab recognition / visit-sheet draft (and while Privacy Mode is off), these features may send content over HTTPS first to our servers (anxiaoyu.com.cn), then to the third-party model provider DeepSeek (Hangzhou DeepSeek):

• Lab / checkup recognition: report photos you take or pick, plus on-device OCR text
• Visit-sheet chief-complaint draft: symptom-related text you enter
• Install-Id: for quota / abuse prevention (not your name or phone number)

Homepage “Xiaoyu” care one-liners are generated on-device from templates and are not sent to DeepSeek. We do not sell health data. Turn off cloud recognition assistance or enable Privacy Mode anytime to stop sending content to DeepSeek. See also DeepSeek’s privacy policy.

6. Subscriptions (AnXiaoYu Pro)

iOS subscriptions are processed by the Apple App Store. We receive transaction/receipt information to unlock Pro; we do not store your card number. Manage, cancel or request refunds via Apple ID → Subscriptions or Apple Support. See also the Terms of Use.

7. Storage and security

• On-device database encryption (AES-256) with keys in the system Keychain
• No hosting of your full health backup in the current public release
• You may export PDF or .anxiaoyu files to Files / iCloud under your control

9. International transfers

• Default on-device health data stays on your device.
• When you use cloud recognition assistance (after consent, Privacy Mode off), lab photos / on-device OCR text or visit-sheet draft text may be processed by our HTTPS proxy and/or DeepSeek (operator based in China). This is not a medical diagnosis; machine-generated content is for reference only.
• Firebase may process anonymous diagnostics in other regions unless you decline “Help improve AnXiaoYu” or enable Privacy Mode.

EEA / UK / Switzerland — safeguards & contacts

• Legal basis for transfers: Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA/UK/CH (including AI processing that may involve infrastructure in China), we rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and/or equivalent UK transfer tools with processors, together with technical measures (HTTPS, least data necessary).
• EU / EEA contact for data requests: Email 80511595@qq.com (subject: “GDPR / EU data request”). If we appoint a dedicated EU Art. 27 representative, the contact will be published here and in-app under Help & Support.
• Complaints: You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. EEA authority list: EDPB members.
• Machine-generated content labelling: cloud recognition assistance is labelled / framed as machine-generated and for information only — it does not diagnose, prescribe, or replace professional care.

10. Your choices

• Access / edit data in the app
• Export / back up (PDF or .anxiaoyu)
• Delete all local data (Settings → Privacy)
• Turn off cloud recognition assistance / enable Privacy Mode / disable experience improvement
• Manage subscriptions in Apple ID settings

11. Children

AnXiaoYu is intended for users aged 14+. Younger users should use the app only with guardian consent and supervision.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be noted in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
